Hola!
a National Science Foundation (NSF) Social, Behavioral, & Economic Sciences (SBE) and Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).
I received my Ph.D. degree in Human Development, Learning, and Teaching at Harvard University in May 2022.
My research focuses on the ways children and adults in mixed-status immigrant families who originate from Latin America awaken to what it means for them and/or their family members to be undocumented in the United States. I consider the perspectives of caregivers and children — independently, within their caregiver-child dyads, and as a family — to contribute empirical insights to our nascent understanding of these individuals’ lives.
My work has been generously funded by the NSF, Ford Foundation, and NAEd/Spencer Foundation Fellowships.
